Adventures in life and photography out West

Hello world!

This is not really new for me. I have had halting relationship with blogging since before it had a name. 

For years I called my blog “Left of Center” but found with the move to WordPress that someone else thought it was a good name as well. I suppose this is good, as I hope to blog more about photography than about politics, though I have a feeling politics will sneak back in from time to time.

I’m a photographer working for a small mountain town paper in Colorado. At the same time, I’m also documenting life in and around the mountains of the Centennial State. Photography in general will be the theme, but how I enjoy it and what I do to get that pleasure will be a part. 

When all is said and done, I will be happy if anyone reads this, and even more happy if, this time, I can keep going.
